The landscape

The way people find businesses has changed.

More searches now start with a question to ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini than with a Google search. The businesses those tools recommend are not the ones with the biggest ad budgets. They are the ones with clear, well-written answers to the questions people actually ask. That is changing how local businesses need to show up online.

What we do

Three themes of work. Every month, done well.

01

Visibility.

Google + AI search

The first job is being where customers look. That used to mean Google alone. Now it also means the AI assistants more and more people ask first. We rebuild your Google Business Profile, write the structured content that search engines and AI assistants need, and make sure you show up for the searches that matter.

  • Google map pack placement
  • AI assistant recommendations
  • Structured data markup
  • Local citation setup
02

Paid.

Ads that earn back

Most ads waste money because nobody watches them after week one. We set up Google or Meta ads, write the copy and creative, and check on them every week. If a campaign stops earning back, we pause it and tell you why. You pay the platforms direct, never marked up.

  • Google or Meta campaigns
  • Written and designed by us
  • Weekly performance checks
  • Zero ad spend markup
03

Results.

Reviews + monthly work

The steady work that compounds over time. Reviews accumulate through a simple system in the background. Every month we review what is working, change what is not, and report it back on the first in plain English.

  • Review request system
  • Monthly report on the first
  • Ongoing optimisation
  • Quarterly AI check

What clients say

A lot had changed in how people find places to eat. Matt helped me understand what that actually meant for us, and what to do about it.

Sarah K. · E17 · Independent café

Most of my work came through referrals, always has. Never really thought about the online side of things. Gave Matt a ring after the audit came through the door. Four months in and I'm getting calls from people who found me on Google. Changes things.

James F. · IG10 · Tradesman

My wife was the one that noticed it first, more people saying they found us online. We hadn't changed anything, Matthew had. He's also quick to respond to me which is great.

The free audit

A close read of how you currently appear online.

Posted or emailed within a couple of days · No follow-up unless you ask

Three things you could fix yourself this week. Three things we would do for you if you wanted a hand. Honest, specific, and free. If the audit surfaces work worth doing, we will say so. And if it does not, we will tell you that too.

Or book a coffee. Forty-five minutes, somewhere on the High Street.

Where we work

The streets we know.

We drink in the cafés we write about, queue at the same bakeries, and walk past the shops our clients run on the way to the post office. That proximity is part of the work. The things business owners miss are often the things their customers feel first.

How it starts

Three steps.

01

The free audit.

Request yours using the form. We read it properly, research your business, and have it with you within a couple of days. No template, no automation. Posted through your door if you're local, in your inbox otherwise.

02

A conversation.

If the audit finds something worth discussing, we suggest a short conversation. Thirty minutes on a call, or over coffee on the High Street if you are nearby. No pitch, no proposal until we know it is a good fit.

03

Working together.

If there is a clear fit, we agree on what to work on and get started. Engagements start with a one-time setup, then move to a fixed monthly arrangement, quoted to what you actually need. Monthly report on the first, a check-in call whenever something needs attention, and thirty days' notice from either side.

Thirty minutes. On a call or over coffee on the High Street.
